ASEAN designers at BIFF & BIL 2010

Last week, I attended the Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair, also known as BIFF & BIL 2010. Thanks to D, I got the opportunity to cover the event, particularly writing about the 48 rounds of fashion shows during the 4-day event. The job couldn't have been more perfect! It was truly a visual feast that did not only stimulate the senses but also stimulated the mind as I got to interview the designers as well.

Among the notable designers that participated in the said event are Dita Sandico-Ong from the Philippines, Vivienne Lin from Singapore, Tamaki Niime from Japan, and Handy Hartono, Ali Charisma and Oki Wong from Indonesia. Equally notable are the Thai fashion designers who made me marvel over their creations. My personal favorites are collections from Olanor by Taned Boonprasarn, Aunchalee, and Pyndela by Pylynn Wongleecharoen.
