Yesterday was a blast! D and I attended the American Chamber of Commerce 4th of July celebration, met up with some good friends, ate good food, and drank good beer.
After which, a bunch of us headed out to a pub to watch the Germany vs. Argentina game. We went to 5 pubs/bars - The Dubliner, The Sportsman Bar, The Londoner, Robin Hood, Bull's Head - all packed! People were spilling over at the door. We just wanted to get a table, eat good food, and watch the game but that proved to be a bit of a challenge. We ended up watching the game on a 21 inch TV and having great tasting (and cheap!) Thai food at a Thai outdoor restaurant. Germany's epic win over Argentina was the perfect ending to the day.
Today, D and I are back on the website work. We're almost done! Anyway, enjoy what's left of the weekend!
