glamourai home

I like peeking into other people's homes. I don't know why but somehow I always find myself looking too intently at the apartment across our balcony or stop in my tracks and try to sneak a peek when I see an apartment door open on our floor. That's why I'm always thrilled to check out sneak peeks at Design*Sponge or house tours at Apartment Therapy.

This week, I caught a glimpse of the home of one of the bloggers I follow. Kelly Framel's home, also known in the interwebz as The Glamourai, was featured in Apartment Therapy. Needless to say, her apartment is just as glamorous and infinitely interesting as her.

Her home has a stark black and white motif with gold accents. I don't usually consider black, white and gold as colors that would be cozy but she has made it work.

I love the black and white frames resting on the floor.

I want a wall of mirrors too.

I had workspace envy when I saw this.

See more here.

layers

Sometimes I wish I live in a country with seasons, particularly one that has a winter season. I want to drown in layers upon layers of clothes.

happy 1011?

How was your 1.1.11? D and I stayed in all day, sprawled on our couch and watched movies. It was the perfect first day of the year.

Anyway, we bought coffee earlier today at our neighborhood 7-Eleven and saw this:

Well, whaddya know... 7-Eleven is a time space warp!

Krabi preview

A couple of weeks ago, D and I went down to Krabi to iron out details for our Ultimate Party. The weather wasn't exactly beach weather but the place was still uh-mazing.

Here are some pictures from the trip.

We've got 21 days to go til The Day and I still can't believe it's finally happening!

greetings from a delinquent blogger

Just dropping a line to wish you all a happy new year! D and I are busy being couch potatoes today. I think it's the best way to spend the first day of the year.

I welcome 2011 feeling so blessed to be where I am today and to have amazing people in my life. I wish all of you love and more blessings in 2011.

One of my new year's resolutions is... to MAKE time to update this blog because I really, really miss finding awesome stuff on the web and sharing it all with you. I hope you won't lose faith in me and still drop by once in a while.

Anyhoo, I leave you with a picture of two dorks and a bike. Enjoy 1.1.11!
